The family
Collecting as a legacy
First watches, then art. Two different passions that tell the same idea. Choose few things, choose them well and care for them for those who will come after.

The founder
Gennaro Letticino began collecting long before the art collection existed. Over the years he gathered more than fifty collector's watches, from essential time-only pieces to grand complications, alternating vintage pieces with models from today's manufactures. From him the family learned respect for work done to perfection and the patience to wait for the right piece.
The first work
In 2001 his son Anteo carried the same attention from watchmaking to modern art. The first purchase of that year marks the beginning of the collection. A work chosen not for its name, but for the strength with which it held the gaze.
The eye
The collection follows no rigid programme. A work enters when it speaks with those already present, when it adds a new voice or completes a path. What matters is the quality of the material, the coherence of the artist's work and the ability to endure over time, like a fine movement.
Two generations
Today the collection is looked after by Anteo and Maria Adele Letticino. Together they oversee new acquisitions, the conservation of the works and the archive, carrying forward a heritage that unites their father's watches with the art of a new generation.
For those to come
Every work is catalogued, documented and conserved to museum standards, so that the collection can pass intact to those who come after. The virtual museum grew from the same idea. To open the collection, make it visitable and share it with everyone who loves art.
